There is just over a page on Struwig in SA Genealogies 12. They are descendants of Johannes STRUYWIG who arrived as a soldier in 1752. They seem to have been centered in the area of Colesberg, and there are a number of intermarriages with the KLEYNGELD family. The following may be relevant: DEPOT KAB http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/SOUTH-AFRICA/2009-10/1255541015 "Keith Meintjes" <umfundi@usa.net> SOURCE MOOC TYPE LEER VOLUME_NO 6/9/3213 SYSTEM 01 REFERENCE 16284 PART 1 DESCRIPTION STRUWIG, CORNELIA MAGDALENA. NEE KLEINGELD. ESTATE PAPERS. STARTING 19270000 ENDING 19270000 In SA Genealogies 4 there are two named Catharina Magdalena KLEINGELD, one born 1848, the other 1852, of the same parents. One might assume the first died young.
